The Development and Asset Management department's role is to grow Cairn Housing Association's business, via the provision of new housing stock, and to ensure that all stock is well maintained and located in areas where people want to live.

Between April 2007 and March 2008 our development activities totalled £15M.  We completed 182 new properties, of which 43 units were for sale through the Scottish Government's Shared Equity Scheme.  There were starts to an additional 97 properties and in the year to March 2009, 141 new homes will be completed throughout the country.

With a large development programme in the Highlands and across the central belt Cairn Housing Association continues to demonstrate its ongoing commitment to providing good quality affordable housing with our partners Scottish Government.
