Here you'll find useful information about being a tenant of Cairn. The Tenants' Handbook is available to download. This applies to all of our tenants, however, there is also an extra supplement for Sheltered tenants. We've provided leaflets on more specific issues on the Tenancy Advice page. 

Our Repairs and Maintenance section lets you know how to report a repair and gives you information on your statutory Right to Repair.  There is also important information for any tenants considering making alterations to their property, including their legal obligations and responsibilities.

Participation & Consultation

We also want as many tenants as possible to become involved in the services we provide.  Find out more on our Tenant Participation page.  For details on forthcoming consultations and events please look at our Calendar of Consultation and Events.  We have a current consultations page where we'll post online questionnaires.

We produce a newsletter, Cairn Attention, up to 4 times each year.  This contains general advice about housing services as well as information about new initiatives within the Association.  Click on the link to view the most recent issue.
