Tenant Participation is a two-way process involving the sharing of ideas and information to allow tenants to help make decisions about the services we provide. We want as many tenants as possible to participate.
To encourage Tenant Participation, we have developed a Tenant Participation Strategy, which explains what we aim to achieve. There are various ways to participate. Our leaflet, An Introduction to Tenant Participation explains more.
You could become involved with an existing Tenants' Group. Click on the link to find out if there is one near you. If there isn't a group, you could consider setting one up. Tenants' Groups can be registered or unregistered. The main difference is that registered groups have access to funding and other resources. Our leaflet, How to Set Up Your Own Tenants' Group, has more information.
If you don't want to be involved in a group, but still want to be active in Cairn HA's service provision, you can join our "Register of Interested Tenants". If your name is on the register we may contact you as part of our consultation on policies or procedures, for example. Your participation is voluntary and confidential. If you would like to become an Interested Tenant Contact Us for more details.
