We have been made aware that Allpay, the company that manage rent payments for many of our tenants, has experienced a major fault with their systems. This has meant that a number of our tenants have had their direct debits taken twice from their accounts where they were due today.
We have been working closely with Allpay to identify where double payments have been made and ensure those payments are refunded.
Allpay have confirmed that all direct debit payments of £120 and above have been refunded and they are working to refund other payments as soon as possible.
We are very sorry to any tenants who have been inconvenienced. A team at Allpay will be working on Saturday morning between 8am and 12pm as they continue to respond to this issue. Update from 10/09/17:
Allpay have confirmed that all double payments have now been refunded. As these refunds have to work through bank’s clearance systems they may not be in accounts until Tuesday.
