Muirton Place / The Old Police House / Strathspey Park, Boat of Garten

Known as the Osprey Village, Boat of Garten is a small village set amongst heather clad hills and native woodland in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Abundant wildlife, magnificent scenery, many outdoor, leisure and cultural activities and a traditional Highland welcome are all to be found here. Try the superb James Braid 18-hole golf course, bird watch, cycle or fish the Spey. There is a local primary and secondary school. There is a regular bus service from Boat of Garten to Aviemore, Inverness and other local destinations.
