Work with us

pot of tea and mug

Our people make Cairn. Their endless energy, enthusiasm, patience and understanding help us transform lives. And it’s because of them that we can set ourselves such high standards and goals for the future.

And so when you join our team, we do everything we can to look after you. Making you feel valued, motivated and rewarded. Your quality of life is as important to us as that of our tenants.

We’re hard workers, who share the same values and beliefs. As an organisation, our moral compass is key to guiding us and the decisions we make. We have integrity and authenticity coursing through us – unlike private landlords, we do this not for profit but as passionate advocates of the wellbeing of our tenants.

If that sounds like something you’d like to be part of, we’d love to hear from you.

A place to fulfil your potential

Once you join us, you’ll be entitled to loads of great benefits including:

  • Competitive salary
  • Generous leave entitlement
  • Flexible working
  • Home working
  • Pension
  • Sick pay
  • Special leave
  • Childcare vouchers
  • Private health checks
  • Eye test vouchers
  • Employee counselling service
  • Family friendly policies
  • Cycle/computer to work scheme
  • Relocation expenses (if eligible)
Equality and diversity

We are committed to promoting equality of opportunity and diversity as a housing provider, as an employer, and in all other areas of our business.

We understand the need to recognise and value individual difference. This allows everyone to contribute their full potential, and acknowledges the importance of this, to the success of the organisation.

We believe that everyone is entitled to be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness regardless of their, age, gender, race, religious belief, sexual orientation, disability, marital or parental status, socio-economic background/social class, caring responsibilities, Trade Union activities or unrelated criminal offences. This list is not exhaustive.

In addition to meeting our statutory responsibility we will promote equality of opportunity in all our activities by reflecting best practice.

Employee Privacy Policy

We have updated our Employee Privacy Policy in line with GDPR. You can read it here.
