You need to fill out an application form. We rent houses in 21 different local authority areas and each area allocates houses differently: in some areas you might have to apply through a common housing register, with the local council or directly through Cairn. Unfortunately there is no easy answer to this question. It depends on a number of factors, including how many ‘points’ you get once your application form is assessed and what the demand is like in the area you’d like to live in. Please give us a call and we will be happy to advise you further.
Yes, but you must be assessed as homeless through your local council first.
We run temporary accommodation for single, homeless women in Inverness. Places are generally given through referrals made to us by the Highland Council.
