Rosemarkie is a village on the south coast of the Black Isle peninsula. The village fronts a wide, picturesque bay, with spectacular views across the Moray Firth. It is close to Chanonry Point, reputed to be the best location in the UK mainland from which to see dolphins. Rosemarkie is well known for the Pictish stones that have been found there.
