We funded Dress for Success to produce Success Book Stories to market their services to potential referral partners and clients.
Dress for Success provides clothing for unemployed women from a low income background to wear to job interviews and their first few weeks in a new job. All clothing is donated and is the client’s to keep. Besides physically equipping the client with clothing and accessories, their programme helps to build confidence and knowledge.
Poverty often affects women the most, and its effect on them and their families can be long-lasting. Therefore, addressing women’s needs is central to improving the quality of life for not only that woman but also her family, future generations and her community.
Dress for Success are based at Strathclyde Business Park in Bellshill.
