We funded Drumchapel Women’s Aid in Glasgow to carry out their mosaic project. The project involves creating a welcome sign for the main reception at the entrance to the building. After consultation it was agreed that the sign would be mosaic and that the women would learn how to carry out an effective and creative mosaic design project.
The benefits of the project is that the women will feel a greater sense of belonging and community. They will learn new skills, have increased confidence and self-esteem and feel pride in their achievement.
