We gave Drumpellier Christian Fellowship to create an IT facility at the Go Between in Townhead, Coatbridge. The money will supply the group with a computer, laptops and printers. Local volunteer tutors will run classes covering topics such as CV building, job search, internet for beginners and employability skills.
The Go Between aims to bring a positive impact to the Townhead community, by increasing personal and employability skills in an area of high unemployment. It also aims to improve the confidence and abilities of users through an increased knowledge in using computers and the internet. It will also bring the community together through self-directed learning, family learning and sharing local information.
