We are looking for an experienced individual to fill an exciting role within our Care and Repair Service
Handyperson – Care and Repair
- 34.5 hours per week
- Salary Scale: £21,112 – £26,390. Maximum entry point £22,223 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience
- Based in Inverness
To undertake in the Installation & testing of Tele-care equipment to a vulnerable client’s property, and to provide high quality small repairs & adaptations such as grab rails/handrails & changing light bulbs etc. to clients properties enabling independent living & supporting NHS specific instructions. The successful candidate should have high level of competence in joinery and general maintenance work and the ability to work under pressure, co-ordinate a varied and complex workload and extensive knowledge of Health and Safety.
Due to the nature of the role there are a few additional things we require of you, you will need to be Computer literate –use of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel and internal systems are regularly required, and it is Essential to hold a full UK driving licence.
A Basic Disclosure Scotland Scheme check is also required for this post, the cost of which will be met by Cairn.
