Maintenance Officer
We are looking for an experienced individual to fill an exciting role within our Customer Services Team.
Cairn Housing Association is a national provider with over 4,500 units in management across Scotland.
We require a Maintenance Officer to deliver an effective service within the Maintenance Team, providing excellent customer service through face to face interactions, telephone calls and written communications.
Key responsibilities include supporting and assisting the Asset Manager with the delivery of the repairs contracts and ensure repairs are completed on time and meet a high standard. As well as monitoring and supervising specialist contractors undertaking non-standard repairs and ensure safety, certification, quality and completion of all works before final invoices are payable and in line with agreed costs and our designated budgets.
Due to the nature of the role there are a few things we require of you, you should hold a Full UK Driver’s licence and be educated to HNC level or hold another relevant professional qualification of this level. You should have 3 – 4 years’ experience as well as detailed technical understanding of property maintenance, repair and installation requirements
A Basic Disclosure Scotland check is required for this post.
