Cairn provides other services apart from housing for rent.

Cairn HomeWorks is our new in-house repairs and maintenance service for the North of Scotland.

Our Care and Support Service enables people who live in some of our properties to continue to live independently.

Our Care and Repair Service has been in operation since April 2005, having previously been operated by Age Concern Scotland through an agency agreement with Highland Council.  It is intended to address the particular needs of elderly and disabled people living in private housing which is in poor condition or below tolerable standard.

We may provide Services for Owners, or Property Management, to some owners in parts of Scotland.  The particular arrangements are generally set out in the owner's Deed of Conditions.  This may apply to:

• former Scottish Homes properties, purchased under the Right to Buy
• Sharing Owners, who have part-purchased their property from Cairn or now bought outright
• more recent Homestake purchasers from Cairn
