Housing type: Retirement housing
A warm welcome awaits you at Tom Matheson Court, for those aged 50 and over who still wish to live independently in their own home. These properties are easy to maintain and offer tenants the safety of living in a secure environment, whilst maintaining their independent lifestyle.
You can relax, knowing that there’s staff on site part time. There’s no need to worry about maintenance costs either as the service charge covers the cost of all external maintenance, gardening, window cleaning and energy costs of the communal areas.
There are plenty of opportunities for residents to get involved with social activities and events in the surrounding area. With so much to enjoy in Thurso, Tom Matheson Court is the perfect place to enjoy later life.
All our homes in Wick and Thurso are now allocated through choice based lettings through the Highland Housing Register. This means that instead of waiting to receive an offer of housing, you will make a bid for the properties you are interested in by responding to an advert with a completed register of interest form. The home will then be let to the person who has registered an interest and has the greatest need.
Our properties available now will be updated whenever there is a new property available and you will have until 2pm on the fifth working day after it was advertised to register your interest. This process has been introduced by all the housing providers in Caithness to give applicants a greater choice. You must have a live Highland Housing Register application to register your interest in a property.
