Commercial Manager

The salary for this post is £46,676, rising to £49,133 after 6 months
Work pattern:
Full-time (34.5 hours per week)

We are looking for an experienced individual to fill an exciting role within our Finance Team.

Cairn Housing Group requires a Commercial Manager to be responsible for the overall financial and operational management of residential and commercial properties.  The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of full market, mid-market and garage rental properties across Scotland (primarily in Caithness, Inverness, Glasgow and North Ayrshire) and also manage a portfolio of factored residential property developments across Scotland.

Due to the nature of the role there are a few things we require of you: it is essential that you have a letting agency qualification or willingness to work towards the qualification either:

  • CIH level 3 certificate in letting and managing residential property
  • Propertymark qualification in residential letting and property management
  • Safeagent Foundations lettings qualification
  • MRICS qualification through the residential pathway

In addition it is essential you currently have, or are willing to work towards, a professional qualification in property management (factoring).  Also is it essential that you hold a minimum of 5 years’ experience in property management.  Please download the job description for full details on the role.

A Basic Disclosure Scotland check is required for this post.

Also due to the location of Cairn properties, travelling around Scotland is an essential part of this role therefore it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence.
