Director of Finance & People Services
Cairn Housing Group is a leading national social housing provider, with over 4,500 units in management across Scotland, a £24 million turnover and employing over 200 staff.
Our new Director of Finance & People Services will be a professionally qualified accountant, ideally also with experience of supporting an HR and OD service. The role will report directly to the Chief Executive, working as part of the Executive Team, and will lead a multi-disciplinary staff team providing a high performing and customer-focused service across the Group. A full understanding of the effective management of finances, including preparation of management accounts, treasury management, financial forecasting and securing external funding will be key, as will the ability to develop and drive finance, procurement, commercial revenue and people strategies. You will be a strategic leader and offer a proven track record of working at a senior level, with a clear understanding of our operating and regulatory environment and the objectives of a social housing provider. With good governance at the heart, you will bring experience of working with boards to support strategic decision making and demonstrate skills in collaboration and innovation and a values-based work ethic. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled individual to join our Executive Management Team and offers the opportunity to collaboratively drive Cairn’s strategic direction to achieve continued success.
