Health and Safety Manager
Cairn Housing Group is a national provider with over 4,200 affordable homes in management in local communities across Scotland, with over 185 staff.
The Group consists of Cairn Hosing Association, ANCHO Ltd, and Cairn Living.
An opportunity has arisen within the Group for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to work with service managers and teams across the organisation to ensure a safe working environment for our staff and a safe homes and services for our customers.
The successful applicant will be a lead source of expertise and advice for the Group, responsible for leading, developing and implementing Health & Safety strategy, policy, procedures, and risk management. You will advise and support the Senior Management Team, and local managers and staff on all aspects of health and safety matters to ensure safe and effective processes and procedures which comply with statutory obligations.
You will need a Full UK Driver’s Licence with use of your own vehicle and you will need to be IT literate – use of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel and internal systems are regularly required.
A Basic Disclosure Scotland Scheme check is required for this post.
You will be employed by Cairn HA, but have a remit across the Group.
