Due to the measures imposed by the UK Government, we have made the decision to temporarily suspend ground maintenance, gardening and window cleaning across Scotland from 1 April as they are not considered essential services in line with the current guidance. In some instances, this may also include stair cleaning where contractors have stopped providing this service.
This guidance continues to evolve, and we will review our position at the end of the initial three-week lockdown period (14th April) or when the guidance is next updated. We will update you if this should change.
We appreciate that this is the start of the growing season and communal areas may be starting to look untidy, however we have taken this decision to ensure the safety and wellbeing of contractors carrying out the service.
Please be assured that as you are currently receiving a reduced service, you will receive a reduction in the amount you pay for your service charge. You should continue to pay as normal in the meantime; reductions will be applied to your 2021/22 service charge.
Please note update on 20th April advising that a slightly reduced ground maintenance service was to be reinstated.
