We have an exciting opportunity for a new trainee to spend a year working with our Communications and Engagement team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be paid the Living Wage and employed for 25 hours a week.
Our new trainee will be actively involved in the day to day projects and services provided by the Business Improvement Team which includes our work in tenant participation, marketing and communications and our contact centre.
The role will include general administration duties and the opportunity to develop projects and new skills in our customer engagement and marketing and communications projects. The Trainee will also have the opportunity to work in our contact centre, providing excellent customer services to customer over the phone and webchat.
Our team are leading a new Digital Services project this year and this is an exciting opportunity for a trainee to play a part in making it a success.
Working in a busy team with a variety of roles and responsibilities the role and responsibilities can be developed to reflect the specific interests of the successful candidate.
This position is funded by Community Jobs Scotland and the vacancy is only open to vulnerable unemployed 16 to 29 year olds, including carers, early service leavers (armed forces), care experienced, disabled, young people with convictions and young people on an Activity Agreement who are not on the Work Programme, Work Choice, Specialist Employment Support, Work First Scotland or Work Able Scotland.
