Cost of Living Help

If you are struggling with the cost of living, particularly the cost of heating your home, then some local authorities have funds specifically designed to help lighten the load.

Here is a list of those we have come across so far. If your local authority isn’t listed below then it is worth getting in touch with them to see if a similar fund exists in your area.

Glasgow
£49 energy top up voucher

North Lanarkshire
£150 one-off payment for those not entitled to any other help

West Lothian
One-off payment for those spending more than 10% of their total household income on energy costs or are at risk of disconnection

Perth & Kinross
For low income households struggling financially due to the current cost of living crisis

Dundee
£150 payment to assist with fuel costs. Currently closed, though may reopen in the future.

Argyll & Bute
Flexible Food Fund

Highland (Inverness only)
One-off payment for those on low incomes. Closes on 28 February.

Scottish Government’s Home Heating Support Fund
