We recently took handover of 25 homes in Croy, near Inverness. This site is part of a larger 100-unit site which is being constructed by Scotia Homes. The Cairn homes represent the 25% affordable housing policy target.
The project was developed with a high degree of partnership working between the Highland Housing Association, Scotia Homes, KLM Partnership and Helica Scotland.
21 of the homes are for social rent and 4 are for shared ownership. The comprise a mixture of 1 bedroom cottages, 2 bedroom terraced houses and 3 bedroom semi-detached houses.
All of the homes are high quality, are designed the SBD Standard and meet the energy rating of B. They also meet the Housing for Varying Needs criteria.
