Customer Service Advisor Trainee
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to fill an exciting Trainee position within our contact centre team.
Our Cairn Connect contact centre team handles all enquiries and service requests coming in to Cairn and aims to provide a high quality services to tenants and other stakeholders. Our Trainee will receive full training and support to provide a frontline service. The majority of enquiries are by phone but we are actively promoting online self-service, webchat and email to enhance our online services.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about providing fantastic customer services to our tenants, so will have strong personal communication skills and some basic IT skills. This Trainee position will offer experience and enhanced skills in customer services and administration. The successful candidate can look forward to working in a relaxed but ambitious working environment as part of a small and enthusiastic team in our Edinburgh headquarters.

This is a Community Jobs Scotland funded position and the successful candidate will be referred by their Job Centre Advisor or through Skills Development Scotland. The programme focuses in particular on unemployed young people aged 16-29 who are care experienced, are carers themselves, early Armed Forces Service leavers (under six years), those with criminal convictions and those with disabilities or other health issues.

Salary: £9 per hour.
Work pattern:
25 hours per week for 52 weeks (fixed term). Specific working hours would be agreed with successful candidate but within normal office hours (9am to 5pm – Monday to Friday).
