Cairn currently have repair target response times of 2 hours for emergency repairs, 2 days for urgent repairs and 10 days for routine repairs.
Following on from a review of our targets compared to other landlords, we realised that our targets were a lot more challenging than other housing associations. Due to this, and given our large geographical spread of properties, we are proposing that we alter our repair target response times.
Our proposal is that our repair target response times are altered to 4 hours for emergency repairs, 3 days for urgent repairs and 15 days for routine repairs.
Changing our response target times will not have an affect on our current high performance (last year it took us 1.3 hours to complete emergency repairs). it will just make us more in line with other housing associations and be more achievable for those properties that take longer to get to.
